I am pretty sure I was the last person to jump on the Stories train. I didn’t “get it”. Why have two different feeds, I thought.
I was soooooooo wrong.

Think of your Instagram feed as a billboard – it’s where you display your best offerings to attract attention and get people to follow you. But when it comes to connecting with those followers on a deeper level, Instagram Stories are like having a conversation with a friend. Let’s dive into how you can use Instagram Stories to transform your business.

Just like a billboard captures attention with its bold visuals, your Instagram feed grabs the spotlight with polished content. Your feed (if not set to private) is seen by followers and non-followers automatically. Stories are seen by your followers. Now – non-followers can see your stories but it’s only when they have been brought to your feed through a search. That is why you can feel more open to share on stories.
Also – when you engage with other peoples stories you are automatically in their DM’s. So when you want to reach out to chat more about their business or yours – you have already made a connection. Its like a warm hi and not a cold hello into an empty inbox.
